Awards

Each year the Academy makes awards at the Graduation ceremony that are aimed at recognising the achievements of graduands and also assisting them in achieving career goals. Students are also encouraged to enter the AG Ideas International Design Competition – the Academy assist students to attend the AG Ideas Annual Conference by subsidising their admission fees.
 
Graduation Awards
•       Computers Now Prize
Awarded to the graduating student achieving the highest grades in Photomedia - Multimedia studies. Previous recipients of the award include: Jason Goldingay, Debra Jagoe, Robert Peters, Reginald Lemann, Ross Fastuca, Benedicte Tellez and James Hindle.
 
 
•       Melbourne Artists Supplies Prize
Awarded to the graduating student achieving the highest grades in Graphic Design studies. Previous recipients of the award include: Liam Wilson, Tania Romeo, Sarah Wilson, Amanda James, Josh Hayes, Elfie Felske and Justina Zukowski.
 
 
•       Cato Partners Prize
Awarded to the graduating student displaying outstanding design leadership. Previous recipients of the award include: Amanda James, Bundit Puangthong, Elfie Felske and David Fastuca

Design Awards
Australian Academy of Design students started entering the AGIdeas Conference International Design Competition in 2003. Since then Academy students have regularly been competition finalists. They include:  Laura Blythman, Katie Davies, Keren Bryx, Cherie Evans, Nada Gisonda, Debbie Sinnis, Elfie Felske, Justina Zukowski and Ben McNamara.
