International Student Exchange Program
The following information is for overseas students wishing to undertake a study exchange at the Academy. Academy students wishing to undertake a study exchange overseas can find the relevant information here.
Who can apply?
Students currently enrolled in design courses at institutions with a formal exchange agreement in place with the Australian Academy of Design - see below. Applicants should be above average students who will be mid-way through their degree program at the time of the exchange.
How do I apply?

First check with your home institution that they will support your application. |

Next complete the Australian Academy of Design Exchange Application for Overseas Students and submit this via your home institution’s study abroad office, together with: |

Letter of recommendation from your home institution |
| 2.2 |
Transcript of your Academic results |
| 2.3 |
Your portfolio (under 10MB for emailed version) |
| 2.4 |
Photocopy of personal details section of your passport. |
(Please note that the Academy requires international students to have an IELTS score of 6.0, in line with Australian visa regulations. Click here for details.)
Deadline for applications:
Semester 1 - apply by mid December (commences mid February)
Semester 2 - apply by mid June after 25/6/2011.
What happens next?
Once approved by both your home institution and the Australian Academy of Design, you will:
