He was then was fortunate to get a job working for the late internationally beloved celebrity milliner William Beale, where he and the team were supplying David Jones and Myer with one off work, no mass production back then! A few years later he opened his own business in Malvern, which later moved to Toorak. During this time he also studied at the London Collage of Fashion. His work has adorned countless celebrities over the years, including Paris and Nicky Hilton, Tara Moss, Melissa George, Marcia Hines and Kate Ceberano. Clients have won mountains of fashions on the fields competitions and he has staged solo exhibitions of his work both in Australia and also in the U.S.A. "People have described me as an art piece, which I guess is a compliment."

He is now teaching at Kangan Institute what he learnt in “Broadie” years ago, along with the techniques William Beale taught him, the skills he has learnt whilst working at Fredrick Fox, milliner to her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Second in London, and all the amazing skills learnt working for years for himself. "I believe in hand made, and I am so fortunate to be able to teach the tradition millinery techniques that have spent my lifetime learning and perfecting."
