Affiliations

The Australian Academy of Design established affiliation agreements in 2000 with:
•    Griffith University, Queensland
•    Charles Sturt University, NSW
     for the purpose of:
•    offering bachelor and master degrees in art and design
•    developing joint research and exhibition programs.
The Academy offered CSU degrees between 2001-2006.

In 2005-7 the Academy established is affiliation agreements with overseas institutions for the purpose of student and faculty exchanges and joint research. These agreements have been formalised with:
•    Utrecht School of Art, Netherlands
•    BAU Escola Superior de Disseny, Barcelona, Spain
•    Politecnico di Milano, Italy
•    Instituto Superiore di Design Napoli, Italy

Similar agreements are being discussed at leading art and design institutions in Sweden, UK and USA which will enable Academy students to study abroad for credit.
