While the Academy does not have a career placement office it maintains links with creative professionals in the industry through its Industry Advisory Panels in the areas of:

•    Graphic Design
•    Photo Media/Multimedia
•    Visual Arts

The Academy also maintains a strong Industry Placement Program for its students to ensure they are career ready at graduation.

Australia does not have a wide selection of job placement agencies for creative careers. One of the few specialist firms for creative jobs is Aquent, which is the world's largest talent agency for creative, web design, and technology professionals, with offices in more than 50 cities and 10 countries. It has an office in Melbourne. Aquent maintains a large listing of job openings on their Find Work page, and provides several online Services.

Another specialist creative job agency is Creative Contact, a boutique creative agency representing the freelance and permanent talent in Melbourne. Its clients are design studios, advertising agencies, and large corporates who have in-house marketing departments. It represents graphic designers, design managers, art directors, finished artists, mac operators, account managers and marketing and business development specialists.
