Career Advisors
The Australian Academy of Design relies on career advisors and subject coordinators in schools to bring to their students’ attention the benefits of studying in an institution like the Academy. The Academy is a not-for-profit institution that does not have the enormous advertising budgets of universities
– it also prefers to put most of its resources into the teaching program. The Academy provides careers information days for careers advisors each year.
Contact marketing@designacademy.edu.au for information about the Career Advisors Info Day.
In recommending and guiding students on which university or college they might study at you might take into account:
• the quality of the education program and the reputation of the institution
• the cost of fees and how much class time you get for those fees
• the level of understanding of international students' needs
• the dedication of the institution to design studies
• the selection procedures and recognition of prior learning
• the success of graduates
• the living conditions and safety of the city where the institution is located.
The Australian Academy of Design scores highly on all of these criteria - for more information see Choosing Your Design College.
